For Medium Subscribers
As a Medium subscriber, you can read and comment on The Cynical Guru's articles in an environment that is familiar to you.
The Medium Club provides a level of organization and access that is missing on the Medium website. You have little control of what Medium's algorithm places in your feed. If you are a "reader", and Medium's processes work for you, then follow TCG on Medium.
If your goal is to "learn", the Medium algorithm won't deliver the TCG articles into your feed in the optimum order. The Medium algorithm is unable to distinguish content that supports your goals versus content that is popular. (If you discovered TCG after a large catalog of articles exist, Medium's algorithm doesn't have the context to select and present articles to support your learning journey.)
Of course, I appreciate your claps on my articles in Medium. It helps boost the visibility to other Medium subscribers.

Medium.com is a place where readers and writers come together. For $5.00 / month, Medium Subscribers have unlimited access to all the articles published on Medium. Writers, such as TCG, are paid by Medium based on how many subscribers read their content.
Medium, will display the beginning of an article to non-subscribers. This is similar to other websites that implement a paywall to encourage subscriptions. If you like to read and want to expand your exposure to additional writers, it may be an option for you.
You DO NOT have to subscribe to Medium to access TCG's Medium articles; they are available to Subscribers for free here.
